Mastek sees 32-34 percent income growth in FY09; July-Sep net profit up

MUMBAI (Thomson Financial) – India’s Mastek Ltd. said it it expects to deliver 32 to 34 percent growth in total income in rupee terms in full-year 2009 after unveiling a 7 percent increase in net profit in the July-September quarter.

The company also said the impact of the prevailing macroeconomic environment on it is “expected to be limited given that it derives most of its revenue from relatively stable verticals”.

In a regulatory filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange, the software services company said net profit in the three months to September rose to 411.8 million rupees on revenues of 2.61 billion rupees from net profit of 251.2 million rupees on revenue of 2.11 billion rupees a year earlier.

Mastek said its 12-month order book grew 11 percent to 5.05 billion rupees as of Sept. 2008. Source CNBC.com
